It rained !!!!
So the temps cooled down, and we were able to spend time outside. It could not have happened on a better day, we had things to do.
Our family normally can not play out side in this heat for more than an hour.
So when it rained and cooled the temps a good 20 degree's, we took full advantage.

The kids had a birthday party to go to with horse rides, petting zoo, mini golf and a jungle gym. It was still drizzling and very humid. But well worth the time out doors.
The kids both ended up on the same horse, Annie
They loved petting the chickens, goats, pigs and rabbits.
The animals were all nipping at the kids, the lady said this is not the norm.
I think they were just being feisty with the nice weather change.
Then to top the day off we head out to the local German festival.
The kids got their faces painted , jumped in the bounce houses and played a few carnival games.
It was a great festival, lots of music, dancing, beer and food.
They actually call it
The Wurst Festival.
It was fun to show our kids a piece of their culture.
Tim is half German, so I guess/think that makes the kids 1/4.
