Today is officially the first day of fall, and I sadly found my wreath had fallen from the door and was flat on the porch thanks to my handy command hook.
So I decided the kids would make some of my gramas scrap cookies
These are one of my favorite memories at the holidays
grama would always make these cinnamon and sugar cookies form all her "left over" pie crust
I use the words left over lightly because truth be told she had to actually make the pie dough for these cookies . they were gobbled up as quick as she baked them. burnt fingers and mouths did not stop any one.
I think it's safe to say my kids loved them just as much.
