We just wanted to update everyone on sweet Farley. Unfortunately he was to much for us to handle. He is a sweet gentle giant, great with the kids, mellow and friendly. Unfortunately he shed so bad Tim was having a hard time with allergies despite the constant vacuuming and humidifiers. And as for me we all know I struggled to find a balance between him and my garden, sad but true. He was impossible to walk with the 2 kids and I couldn't imagine with a 3rd. We felt with the new baby on the way he would be much happier with another family.
We contacted the burner rescue and they had lots of applicants that go threw extensive interviews. They found a single guy with lots of extended family who would have the time for him. His transition was made easier going straight from our home to his with out foster care. He is doing great and very loved.
We cried when he left especially the kids. We love dogs and still hope to have one in our family. We hope to have learned from our mistake and make a decision that is better suited for our family.
