picking out a tree

We headed out to our local Home Depot and picked out our tree. It was cool 26* so we picked quickly.


I'm just wondering why we can get this tree dead for $50, but alive would cost us upward of $300.

    Great tree and good point on the price! What does it matter if you want it cut down or be able to plant it in your yard. Merry Christmas.
