pumpkins

The kids pick these cute cups out every year

 when were at the home improvement store.

And they always do great.

Till I get the planting itch and just can't wait any longer

 to put them outside in the garden.

And every year I kill them,

 because yet again my Cali. mind forgets it still freezes in May here.



 But this year I'm holding out.

The weather is almost perfect, at least getting there.

I am very tempted.

But we will wait and wait, cause I do want pumpkins this year.

How cool will that be to carve pumpkins we grew.
